Who is Halsey-Shedd Fire District?

We have 4 stations within our HSFD department. Each station has a staff captain, and they all report to our HSFD chief. Please take a moment to get to know your local firefighters.

Meet the Fire Chief

We are please to introduce you to Fire Chief Travis Hewitt. Travis started his career at Halsey-Shedd FD as a volunteer in 2004 and became the staff captain/training officer in 2010. Travis was promoted to Fire Chief June of 2017. When Travis was a volunteer he was very dedicated to the department and was awarded firefighter of the year for:
